This was, once again, taken on our trip to Panther Creek. The picture actually doesn’t do it justice, but this space was VERY narrow, barely big enough for us to climb down and slip through. It wasn’t fun, especially on the way back when we couldn’t get either of our dogs to go down by themselves. (They wouldn’t do it on the way up, either, but then we weren’t freakishly tired. :) )

I would have been so claustrophobic there! You were both adventurous to crawl in! Great photo.
I love the photo!
Ahh…hiking. Lovely photo. Mine for today is much more prosaic.
Yikes, glad you made it back :)
Hmm, I’m not sure I would be too keen on that narrow space either. It looks like a lovely trip though!
thanks for visiting mine earlier :)
I would have totally freaked out. I don’t mind close spaces but spaces barely big enough to squeeze through and my brain shuts down.
Yipes. Where’s the backyard hammock? That’s more my spped. You dog looks narrow as well.
That is beautiful–very similar to a park near here full of huge rocks and narrow gaps.
Amazing shot! I love that:)
Freakishly tired sounds really tired :> Cool shot Sounds like good exercise
excellent photo I love the contrast
That looks too narrow and dangerous. I hope everyone got down safe.
Have a great weekend :)

Lol… I don’t know what’s better, the shot or the story ;-)
Sometimes animals have better instincts than us!

Love the light at the end of the tunnel effect.

Happy Weekend Everyone!!!
LOL! Why does this lovely picture suggest that dogs have more sense than humans?
*Gulpz* I think I’ll freak out like a mad woman if I were up there having difficulty coming down..
I went to a Christian camp when I was about 13 or 14 for spring break…we went out (as a group) hiking and found spots like that. All I could think of was how we were going to be featured on the next episode of either Unsolved Mysteries or Rescue! 911 with William Shatner (Denny Crane.).
Paper is finished…at least for that class. Now I have to finish a legal memo that I probably won’t work on until my MIL is here on Tuesday to watch the kids and watch her stories.
