We’ve stopped there to eat two years in a row on our way to camp–the kids think it is awesome. The service each time has been horrible…maybe we’ll remember that this year…
::: waving ::: Or maybe try another Arby’s? We usually have good service there… at any number of Arby’s.
The strange thing is that I remember trees inside malls when I was younger (in the early 80s). But I hadn’t seen them in a long time. I worry about that tree’s poor root system.
I like that they are trying to bring a little nature into the middle of a fast-food joint! I love it even more that you had the foresight to take a photo of it!!

I was going to equivocate but ARBY’S? Yes, that is a strange place for a live tree to be.
That’s pretty much what I thought. :)
Cool! Nothing like bringing the outdoors indoors.
Happy WW!
And to you — or should I say happy Wordful Friday? :)
We have a number of places that have started doing that.
Really nice picture.
Hope you have a wonderful week, until the next WW, may your days be filled with happiness. Pop by The Cafe if interested in my WW entry for 3/26/08.
Thanks for the compliment! :)
That’s all sorts of odd!
Giggle…
That is a nice concept. I have seen it here in Malaysia too. I can’t remember at which shopping mall now. :D
Happy Family

This must be something they’re doing at new Arby’s stores… interesting…
ROFL! That is quite bizarre. New meaning to indoor/outdoor decor??

Wow, that tree is determined. I wonder what they will do if it keeps growing. Thanks for stopping by!
I was wondering the same thing. Hmmm…

Thanks, Carrie! My husband walked back to the car to get my camera. Isn’t he a sweetie! :)
We don’t have Arby’s here in Australia, but from the website they look a little like Subway. Am I anywhere near correct?
Anyway, it’s a great idea. I hope more places start doing this, as it might just *begin* to make up for the concrete jungles we’ve created ;)
Jane’s last blog post..How Many Easter Eggs?
Hi, Jane. Arby’s is similar to Subway. They used to have “just” roast beef sandwiches, but now they have lots of sandwiches (including subs, etc.).
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ll come again!
I love this - that’s cool :D!
