I feel like celebrating! This is my 500th post since I started this blog on July 13, 2007.
When I started writing, my husband, my best friend Sarah, and a few friends from work read.
Now, I have readers from all over, including from Kuwait and South Africa. Since I started keeping track of such things in December, I’ve had as few as 14 visitors in a day and as many as 80 — give or take a few. I average between 40 and 50.
In the last nine months, I’ve realized how much I love to write — and how much I love people to READ what I write. I’ve also rediscovered my love of photography. Despite recent evidence to the contrary, this isn’t a photo blog, and I don’t intend to turn it into one. But it has been SO NICE to have a medium in which to share my photographs. And I’ve decided to try to join some local photo clubs and, eventually, try to sell some of my prints. I’m so excited! :)
So thank you to each and every one of you for reading, for commenting, for lurking. I am LOVING this blog and blogging, and I can’t wait to see what the next few months bring, both inside and outside of my little space in the blogosphere.
