Comforting…

It’s comforting, somehow, to know that even the president’s daughter can have slight hiccups occur at her wedding.

Maybe it’s just the angle, but doesn’t the top layer of this cake look off-kilter?

Take a moment to look at all the photos, which are beautiful. Jenna Bush was a lovely bride.

Just as there is the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, now there is the Leaning Cake of Crawford.

Oh that’s too funny. I did not notice that until you pointed it out. I wonder how the cake got crooked. I found your blog through Melanie’s blog. How fun to be invited to wedding at the white house.

Hi, Audrey! Welcome! I hope you enjoyed your visit and that you’ll come back to visit me again soon.

I’ve read a few places (message boards of people who make cakes) that the cake may have been designed that way and that it MAY be the angle that makes the cake look off-kilter.

The wedding was just as beautiful, and they’re just as married, whether the cake was off-kilter or not.

    I love weddings. :)

I could say so much but zipping my lips and saying. Maybe it is suppose to be that way.

Yeah, I know. :) But I love weddings, and that’s why I posted it.

I totally thought that cake was going to topple right over. If it did, do you think Bush would have gone to war with the baker? JUST KIDDING!

That made me laugh out loud! :) Some things are JUST FUNNY! And that was!

I agree it does look off kilter. It was a beautiful wedding. Jenna was an adorable bride.
I hope all the best for her and her new hubby.

I’m with Shannon on keeping my words to myself otherwise. :)

She really was. I wish them all the best, too. :)
