Photo Hunt: Shoes

P4290910

My theme for the week, apparently, is weddings. :) I wore flat “slippers” for the ceremony, but changed into my tennis shoes at some point between the wedding and when we left the reception. (I can’t remember when.)

I love this photo. And I love the contrast between my scuffed up, old tennis shoes and my shiny new husband’s shiny shoe.

I think this week’s theme will be particularly interesting, so go check out the Photo Hunt.

Ahhh that’s the way to go comfort shoes on a stressful but beautiful day of your life. Happy weekend.

I love the contrast of the dress and your shoes more. Happy weekend!

Yeah, that is the more prominent contrast, isn’t it? I hope no one thinks that bottom ruffle IS my dress, though. That’s the crinoline UNDER my dress, to make it poofy. :)

That’s the way to do it! Fantastic shot!

Thanks, JC. I just wish I’d been the one to take it. But that’s hard at one’s own wedding, I guess. ;)

Well they must be comfortable but they made me laugh seeingthem under a wedding dress. :)

    Great entry!

Yeah, it is a pretty funny sight. I agree.

Oh that’s precious! Such incongruity makes me giggle ;–)

I’ve shared at Small Reflections today.
    Hugs and blessings,

    It is pretty giggle-worthy, isn’t it? :)

LOL! You are one smart bride :) I should have totally wore my sneakers on my wedding day. Especially since our photographer had us walking up and down the Vegas strip for photos!

Ooh… I want to see more of your wedding pictures. But I’m sorry about the sore feet. Ugh…

Thanks for visiting, Rebecca, and re Crocs - yes, they are comfortable to the point of spoiling you. But in any case, eventually you will have to get a pair - it’s inescapable ;-)

I’m all about the comfortable shoes. I’ll look into it. Thanks for the info!

This is such a superb snapshot from your wedding. Love it!

Thanks so much! :) I’m pleased to have it, especially since I swore I’d wear tennis shoes to my wedding. Heh.
