After a hike on a hot day, walking around in the stream and rolling around in the dirt, Toby has really. bad. hair. Not great photos, but you get the idea. :)

Bad hair indeed! My parents have a Springer Spaniel and she frequently gets bad hair - full of sand, salt water, and goodness knows what else!!
It’s the “goodness knows what else” that might be in Toby’s hair that worries me. ;)
Aww bless!
He’s a cute little son of a gun, isn’t he? :)
Such a cute dog!
Thank you, Deb. :)
I love the last one! Cuteness. :)
Thanks, Laura. I hadn’t seen these photos since I took them last July. It was fun to look back. :)
Great photos of a puppy that’s having fun! Who cares about bad hair! Ha! :D
Thank you. He doesn’t like the bath too much that results (and it’s no picnic to give it to him — you can actually “wring him out” when it’s done), but we both cope. :)
OMG! I my heart just melted on the last one … those eyes!
Karen, he’s a cutie… and he knows it. ;) Thanks so much for your comment.
Poor baby - this IS bad hair, but I bet he had fun!
He did indeed have fun, so it was all worth it. :)
Awwww! What adorable eyes!!! With eyes like that, we can look past the hair.
Karen, he’s a sweet puppy. Yes, with those eyes we can forgive him almost anything. :)
Given how he got that way, I’d say it’s worth getting your hair messed up!
Yup. I agree.
Aww, how can that be bad hair ;)
Heh.
Too cute… it’s worth it to have bad hair when you had so much fun getting it! Love your Blue shots, too… how’d I miss those…
Thanks, JC. I feel the same way about my own bad hair. Generally if I have bad hair, there was a GOOD reason for it.
Thanks for the compliment about my blue shots, too. :)
Awwwe poor Toby. Great shots. Have a great weekend!
He’s just too pitiful for words, isn’t he? ;) Thanks so much.
I see a bath in his future! NCLM
Indeed there was one. He also got one last night after a similar night’s activity. :)
Awww, he’s cute!! Is that a Cavalier?
He’s cute, even with bad hair!!
Thank you. Yes, indeed, Toby is a Cavalier. :)
Hola from NCLM :)
Very cute pics…I love Toby’s curly hair! Reminds me of myself after getting stuck in the rain!
Hello there yourself. It really does curl up when it starts getting a bit longer. People always think he’s a girl because of the curls. I find it rather amusing. :)
When I was a wee lad I had a dog named Lady. She was a black Cocker Spaniel and in the fall my Dad and Uncle used to take her when they went duck hunting. And they would bring her home so full of burrs - but especially her ears. They would be so bad and it would take me so long to get them out and she would just sit there and shiver because she was so wet and cold. And she hated having bad hair.
Poor Lady! Toby likes GETTING the bad hair, but he hates the repercussion… the bath.
Oh, look at that puppy. Now that is a cute dog.
Thank you, Beth. We think he’s pretty cute, too. :)
Ahh, good thing doggy is so darn cute! You don’t even see the interesting hair…
Ellen, we often say, “It’s a good thing he’s so darned cute” ourselves. Just sayin’. :)
Toby is definitely looking better than my dog with bad hair!! :P Adorable little fella you’ve got here :)
Thank you so much. :)
Oh!!! SO CUTE!!!! Love the googly eyes!
Thank you. I love the word “googly.” I just felt like sharing that last part. :)
All my pets have had bad hair days in the last few months. Do you think I could find pictures? No! I am going to keep digging!
Isn’t that always the way these things go? I had to dig a bit to find those pictures of Toby. They were from last July. :)
Cute dogs ..bad hair indeed…See you in my blog too leaving a comment..Thanks..
Thank you. He is a cutie. :)
Cute…I kinda love the curls that frame her/his face. Why do they always look cute when having bad hair days? How I wish I could say that to myself!
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could figure that one out? :)
bad hair or not, toby looks really cute!
Thank you, Juliana. :)
Ick — muddy dog! That’s gotta be fun to clean up :)
That last close-up of his face is so cute!
He goes directly from the car to the bath. We hose him down, soap him up, smell wet (but clean) dog all night. :) We had to do just this last night after a similar outing to the one pictured. The dog loves to rub in wet sand… probably because it’s cool. :)
I love that last shot. He’s a cutie.
You dirty dog, you! lol…cute little guy though! I love the spaniels…My hunt is up, please come and visit
Thanks so much! :)
Those last three pictures are gorgeous! And the doggie picture is too cute!
Thanks so much, Jeanette! :) Toby, who is sitting in my lap, says, “thank you,” too.
Adorable dog, love the closeup of his face. Hey, he’s not afraid of a little dirt! LOL :)
Thanks so much! He’s a sweet dog… and definitely NOT afraid of dirt. :)
I think the dog needs a big bath!
Indeed he does. :)
Cute take on bad hair! (And I think s/he has GREAT hair!)
Hi, Colleen! :) Yeah, this was a bit of a stretch for “bad hair,” but it was the best I could come up with.
