Photos of my photos. I finally finished my bloggy giveaway from a few weeks ago. The giveaway is the first time I’ve put my photography “out there,” so I took a photo of the matted, packaged prints.
YUM! (One of my photos from Project Blue.)
Wild raspberries in our yard.
Another rose in our yard.
I have no idea what these leaves are, but I love them.
Toby and his new girlfriend Froggy.
Happy dog.
Ahhh, nature…

I love that first on so much! These are all excellent, though, and now I have this hankering for Oreos again. :)
I really love the first one, too. I don’t know why, exactly, but it makes me so happy… (Is it wrong to say that about my own photograph… and about a photograph of my PHOTOGRAPHS, no less?)
And I’ve been fighting the urge to eat Oreos all afternoon. Ugh.
Oreos! What a great thing to shoot for Project Blue! Great job.
Thank you, Robert. :) I like that photo, too. My husband wasn’t overly fond of it, but what does he know? (Actually, he’s the photographer by trade in the family, so he knows quite a lot.)
I just got my matted photo in the mail yesterday and it is wonderful. I will go very well with a different autumn photo we were given of our “home” city back in Canada. Thanks so much for hosting a giveaway and for putting your art “out there.” It is wonderful and I enjoy looking at how you view things. Thanks so much for the picture.
Michelle, I am so pleased that you got your photo and that you’re happy with it. That makes ME happy. :) Thanks again for entering and for being so patient while I got my act together. :) If you have a moment sometime and want to share, I’d love a picture of where you put it (if that makes sense).
Beautiful Rebecca… um, but I’m loving the Oreos a bit too much LOL!
Thank you, Karen. And I’m feeling your pain about over-love of the Oreos… Sigh…
I love the shot of the dogs - their hair looks so unbelievably silky!
The pictures look great matted!
Aren’t those dogs wonderful? They just happened to come up next to my chair, and I got off three shots before the “moment” was over. I was lucky to get it. Froggy’s hair, in particular, IS really silky. :)
I was happy with how the photos came out. I worried a LOT more about matting them than I should have. It really wasn’t at all hard, once I got the proper materials. It’s amazing how much I worry about non-issues…
Love that 1st one! The nature ones are so serene & the dog ones are precious :)
Thank you, Connie. I love the 1st one, too. I’m not even sure why. Did you notice that Toby’s tail has brushed a place “clean” under him? It cracked me up.
OMW I love your work!
That rose is simply incredible!
What a great idea to package your photos like that for a giveaway!
Jenty, thank you SO much!
I enjoyed the bloggy giveaway in April, and I’m going to do it again in July… so much fun.
The pictures are all very good, but of course my favourites are always animals, lol !
Thank you! :) The animals are sweet, aren’t they?
I really enjoy your nature photography, both the “point of view” and the beautiful details. So nice. :)
Joyce, thank you. :)
Great idea, that bloggy give away! I should do something like that. I think I owe some people some prizes from an eon ago, anyway! LOL
Great shots, R!
Thank you, Mishelle.
And it’s amazing how fast things like giveaways can get away from me. Ugh… :)
You always get such beautiful nature shots!! I’m jealous…I wish I had places like that around here to go!!!
Sadie, thank you so much for the compliment. I didn’t realize there were so many “nature” places around until I met my husband. Go figure…
Beautiful pics - I love the Rose!
Thanks so much, Marylin. :)
Beautiful shots! I like the nature ones.
Thank you, Laura. :)
Very nice shots…your backyard is a goldmine!
Thank you, June. There really is a lot of cool stuff back there…
Beautiful photos. We had raspberry bushes growing up and I miss them … Hmm, I wonder if they’ll grow in my yard …
Thank you.
We had no idea the raspberries were out there until a couple of weeks ago. I don’t know if they’ll taste good, but it’s fun watching them grow.
Those leaves do look familiar, like something my mom and dad have on their garden mounds, no idea what they are either though! Eh heh.
Oh hey! My mom commented. :P Neato.
Very cool to have your artwork “out there” congrats. :)
My favorite picture this week is the rose. :)
Hi, Laura! Thank you for the compliments. :)
When I “followed” your mom, who I didn’t realize was your mom at the time, I figured it out because of the photo of Carly. It was nice of your mom to stop by.
Lovely.. just lovely. (the photos of your photos looked pretty good)
cheers kim
Thanks so much, Kim. :)
Wow - you made an Oreo package fit in with nature and splendid art!
