The eternal question…
“Rebecca, are you blogging?”
This is a question my husband asks me a lot. (No, the answer is NOT always “yes,” thankyouverymuch.)
In less than a month, he will have been asking me that question for a full year. July 13 is my first blogoversary.
To mark the day, I’m going to write about why I blog. And I hope you’ll do the same. Just answer the question “Why I blog” on YOUR blog and leave a link to your post in the Mister Linky that I’ll put up at 12:01 EDT on July 13.
I’m going to “come clean” and tell you that I will be out of town on July 13. (A Sunday in the middle of July. Go figure.) I’ll be auto posting this and returning later in the day to see what you have to say.
What? You’re going to be out of town or otherwise unavailable that day, too? No problem! Post your link when you’re ready… hopefully some time that week… but I’ll read it whenever. :)
AND I’m going to have a giveaway. You don’t have to participate in the blog carnival to enter. Because photography is a big part of my blog and something I love to do, I thought it fitting to give away a print or two. I’m also giving away a $10 gift certificate. I’m still working out the details of both. Do you have suggestions?
I look forward to seeing you then. I think it’s going to be fun. What’s summer without a carnival, after all?

In my house, my husband doesn’t ask anymore. It’s the 8 year old asking “Did you blog yet, Mom?”
