Blog 274?

On the way home from visiting my parents yesterday, I told Ed that about 75% of the days this year I’ve felt like blogging and that it’s the other 25% that have killed me.

When I did the math, I learned that 75% of 365 days is (rounded up) 274 days. (Actually, when I did the math I realized I’ve felt like blogging more like 90% of the time, but that’s beside the point.)

Anyway, Ed said that next year we should have Blog 274 as an alternative to Blog 365… and use a tag line like “For those of us who are too lazy/busy/tired to blog 365 days in a row.”

I’m sure he’s not the first to think of this, but the idea cracked me up.

Maybe I’m just easily amused? :)

    Blogging: can’t live without it. And living “with it” can make you a bit crazy. :)

    You guys are too funny. Musta had too much time in the car. :) I gave up on 365 a few weeks ago. I didn’t like having to do a “fluff” post just to post and thought dang it, I’m going back to MY blogging schedule, which is somewhere around that 274 mark. :)

    We crack ourselves up, too. That’s the sad part.

    I’m not going to sign up for nothin’ next year, at least not anything that’s a full year commitment. It’s just not worth it.

    I started with blog 365 and made it until last month because blog 274 just makes more sense to me. You should totally start it. I will join.

    Last time I suggested such a thing, AllMediocre was born….just warning you.

    I told Ed about AllMediocre on the same car trip. Pretty funny how these things “grow,” huh? :)

    I would be a lot more open to your idea than 365 - I do blog a lot, but there are plenty of days I just have nothing to say. :) Good idea!

    If I didn’t do my Project 365 (which I am wholeheartedly committed to) I wouldn’t be blogging 365. It’s hard.

    hah! that is funny. Darren’s much the same way.

    I sure have gotten a little crazy about blogging. There was a time when my readers were lucky to get 7 posts in a month. The addiction to regular blogging started with site meter then when NaBloPoMo came around and I failed I really decided that I had to blog more! And yes, Blog 365 did it. I’m lost now, they have me forever.

    I’m “had” forever, but I think I’ll blog just a FEW fewer days next year. :)
