An aunt commissioned me (her words, not mine) to photograph some orchids. Yesterday, we went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, which has a HUGE orchid exhibit.
I love these bright, cheerful yellow orchids.

Thank you! When my aunt decides which prints she wants to use, I’ll need to get them printed on a photo-quality inkjet printer for sure. They won’t “glow” on photo paper. :)

Orchids are sooo beautiful, next to calla lilies, they are my favorite!
I LOVE calla lilies, too. I considered using them in my bridal bouquet but went with “boring” roses. :)

I love orchids, they were a common prized flower where I grew up. They smell so lovely and they look so delicate. Nice choice for the hunt.

I dun know orchids also can grow so well in the States!
Jam, they don’t grow well in many parts of the States (as far as I know), but many people have success growing them. These grow in a greenhouse built especially for them, which helps I’m sure. :)
