When did you start your blog?

Today’s Fun Monday is being hosted by Lisa at Lisa’s Chaos. She’s asked us to ask a question for our readers to answer.

My question? When did you start your blog?

Nothing hard or particularly creative, but I’m curious how long people have been blogging.

    I started my GLOB in August of 2006 with blogger. Later, I switched to Typepad. It’s been a blast and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Lately, I’ve not had the time to visit many, so I feel out of the loop with my old time friends. I’ve even had the good fortune to meet two bloggers since I started.
    I know several bloggers who were friends/family BEFORE they were bloggers:
    Nekked Lizards: cousins
    De-throned Princess: daughter
    Martin Docudrams: daughter
    Team Schmoldt: daughter in law
    Family P: former student
    Pioneer Woman Ree: friend (Wetsy is one of my daughter’s best friends)
    So there, you got more than you asked for.

    Officially? Live from Waterloo’s birthday is 01/Jun/2006. But I had been working on a blog before that, using the Tripod.com engine. It was terrible, and I dropped it after a while. That one -it had no name- was ‘born’ on 27/Jan/2005.

    The interesting thing is that even my previous blog was fully bilingual. Back then, I thought I was original :-)

    I started my blog in May of 2006 but back then I didn’t do much and it was mainly for myself. I didn’t really start blogging alot till about Dec of 06 or Jan of 07.

    I posted a photo of our kitty with his new Santa Stocking.

    I’ve been blogging tho, for over 5 years. I have [should say HAD] another blog but it’s no longer active

    Well, lessee. Mama Drama officially started without me about three years ago with a lone mama who decided to quit. Then Mama Drama was reincarnated with 5 mamas, none of whom was me. Then one of the mamas moved to Australia, and I — a former crazed commenter — was invited to join. That was 1 1/2 years ago; my blogiversary is January.

    Confused? Me, too. All the time. Just ask Mindy. It’s sad, really.

    September 2, 2006… before we went on our trip to France/Italy. My motivation behind it was so that our parents could soothe their worried little selves by reading and knowing we were still alive. :)

    I started blogging on October 22, 2007 after attending a Writer’s Retreat in Taos New Mexico last summer and have published daily at Small Reflections and 3-4 times a week at Sacred Ruminations ever since because it’s fun … though sometimes it’s challenging to balance blogging with my ‘real’ life.

    I started my blog in May ‘07 one Sunday night on a whim. Friend sent me the Blogger website and I started noodling around with it and before I knew it I had “Summit Musings” up and running. My first comment was to send congratulations to Samantha Larson, a CA teen who’d just summited Mt. Everest. She was able to receive blog messages at her base camp on Mt. Everest–what a thrill.

    Hi, Gracie… Thank you for asking. I started this blog in July 2007. I had a blog for a few months in 2003, but that went the way of the dodo bird. :)
