I’m having a really low-energy day.
After reading awhile, I went to bed last night at 10:10. I don’t remember anything until 4 a.m. when I got up to go to the bathroom. I slept restlessly for awhile, then fell soundly asleep again. I remember Ed getting up (he says at about 8:30). The next thing I knew he was in our bedroom to check on me. It was 10:10 a.m. I can’t remember the last time I slept that late.
I got back into bed about 12:30 and took a nap at 1 p.m. Ed woke me up at 3. Now, Ed’s gone to the gym, and I’m lounging around, watching the Olympics/HGTV, reading, and computing.
I suspect when I made the decision to get back on the exercise horse (and particularly after my reality check a couple of weeks ago), I inadvertently starting eating too little.
So I’ll try eating a little more and see how that works for me. Starting with dinner, which I hope is soon. I am REALLY hungry!

You must, MUST take good care of yourself. If you’re exercising, then your diet either stays as it was or increases - but should not decrease. Please???
I agree. I was trying to use better portion control (eat a serving of stuff, rather than well more than a serving, for instance). I miscalculated. If it makes you feel any better, for dinner I had chips and dip, about six ounces of swordfish, several peanut butter crackers and a large class of milk. Oh, and a few M&Ms…
I certainly do NOT intend to eat too little.
I appreciate your concern. :)
Maybe your body just needed a break today. Hope your dinner was wonderful and gave you the energy you needed!

That happens to me sometimes I just misjudge what is necessary for “perky” life.

I thought 10 to 8 was great!! Lucky you… :)
Between my kids and work, I often “forget” to eat. My husband just doesn’t understand it, but I think it’s common for a lot of women. But when I don’t eat well, I feel awful.
Take care of yourself, friend!

I feel awful when I don’t eat well, too. This weekend is Exhibit A. :) I think I’ve finally “caught up” on food, but I’m still not feeling well. (It’s possible I have a bug, but I don’t think so.)
