Opening Doors: Incline Railway

Jientje at Heaven in Belgium is hosting a photo challenge called Opening Doors. The challenge? To show doors. (Jientje has a *thing* for doors.)

I looked through the 3,400 photos in my Flickr photostream and found only a handful of door photos. I’m hopeful I’ll start feeling better sometime between now and the start of 2009 and that I’ll be up for some serious “door hunting.”

If not, you’ll be left with only this: the emergency door of the Incline Railway in Chattanooga, Tenn.

R5300905

The photo was taken near the top of the incline, where the steepness is 72.7 degrees.

For more Opening Doors, go visit Jientje.

I would have to be a really, really big emergency to get me thru that door! It’s a long way down…

That looks like a fun place to visit! I tell you, all these doors make me want to go look through my photos for some doors, but instead, I’m going to sleep. Good night!
