As promised, here are more photos of the adorable Joseph. (I posted a few in Sunday’s Weekly Winners post.)
I LOVE photographing closeups of baby hands and feet.
Baby hands and feet in the same shot. SWOON!
Sweet face…
Isn’t this a classic “newborn cry”?
Mom was getting Joseph ready for his next closeup. But I decided THIS would be his next closeup.
I posted this one on Sunday, but the expression on his face is so great. This shot says, “I am SO over wearing this hat in September.”
Jamie mentioned that Joseph often opens one eye long enough to make sure she’s there and then closes it again. When I looked at the photos, I was delighted to discover this shot of Joseph doing just that.
Seeing Ed with this tiny baby almost makes me want one of our own. Almost. But not actually. So cute. The baby, too. :)
I’ll photograph Mr. Joseph again in a couple of months. I can’t wait.

Joseph is absolutely precious. You can never get enough of tiny fingers and toes :)
And those cheeks!

Great shots, Reba. And yes, you do want one of your own.
All great shots, but you are right: the little feet and little hands are superb.
You know, I don’t miss being a portrait photographer most of the time… then I see little hands and feet close up and I want to start up again. Almost.

I could just eat them with a spoon… they’re too cute!
Oh, those are precious. I love the two of him sleeping after the feet and hands. So wonderful.

Beautiful shots of a beautiful baby! How lucky to spend some time with such a cutey! The best bit? You can hand him back and go home at the end of it! *evil grin* ;)
He is a total doll! And I’m glad I can hand him back. I’ve always admitted I want a BABY. It’s the whole “parenthood is forever” thing that gets me… Sigh…
Absolute joy and sweetness. I just wish I could smell him too…
Those first two and the getting dressed pictures are my favorite, oh the cuteness! I guess I missed these because we were in the midst of our cross-country drive. Glad you had such a fun photo shoot and I hope you’ll get in that second shoot soon. :)
