I’m 33 years old. I’ve had braces TWICE. The last time I got my braces off I was 17 years old. However, I STILL struggle with one of my teeth wanting to move. It’s one of the front teeth on my lower jaw, so it’s quite noticeable… or it is to me, anyway. I do have a retainer I can (and do) use to keep the movement under control. But it annoys me that I have to do so. I joked in college that I’d have to wear my retainer on my wedding night. I didn’t actually do so, but I probably should have. :)
Is there something that you deal with as an adult that you never thought you’d still have to? We’ve talked about zits here recently… so I know I’m not the only one who deals with those at least occasionally… but what else?

Yes, It may sound weird but I have momentary fear of the dark and I really thought I would get entirely over it with adulthood.
I would tell you, but we DO have boundaries.

I thought my menstrual cramps were gone for good. They stopped after my first kid and picked back up in the last year or so!!!

Ugh… my tooth “problem” doesn’t seem quite as bad now. I’m sorry those pesky cramps are back.
It’s not something I had to “deal” with, but I stopped everything I was doing yesterday to look at the JC Penney Wish Book with our son. I thought I was WAY over that!
Oh, and I still fear “cooties” from boys.

Well, cooties are gross. :)
Pimples…but not that much any more since a year or two, but hey, I’m 35…
Plus my front teeth on the top start moving apart again, it drives me nuts, but I’m not going for a retainer, nope.
And dark, alone inside the house, nopw, don’t like it much. Never did.
Silly silly teeth. :)
