About a month ago, I showed the Four Seasons Trees: The Summer 2008 Edition. I bemoaned how “blech” the scene looked.
Saturday, Ed and I hiked the same trail. This is the same scene, sans quite so much smog.
And, for comparison’s sake, the scene in August.
The first one is MUCH better, don’t you think?

Mushrooms bigger than your head. O.k., not really. They’re your average mushrooms, photographed last Sunday in our back yard.
I took this shot hand-held last Monday morning while waiting for a traffic light to change.
Remember the “Monet” I showed a few weeks ago? These are the same tree branches, but in good weather.

I was having trouble with this one. I liked this photo of the railroad tracks, but wasn’t sure that the word “road” being in it really qualified it. (What does “qualify” mean, really, though, for the PhotoHunt?) So I looked up the word “road” at www.m-w.com and found this as definition 4: railway.
