This was a week of sunsets and moon shots.
Wednesday night’s sunset.
Thursday night’s sunset, taken from virtually the same spot.
This was Friday’s sunset, taken at a local shopping center.
The moon about 6:20 on Thursday night… This is the shot I was trying to post for Sky Watch Friday… when I ended up posting my drawing of [...]
Rebecca, taken September 12.
Rebecca, taken today, following a make-over at the Clinique counter.
This afternoon, on the heels of yesterday’s trip to Kohl’s, we went for the bra-fitting. I’m not going to tell you how much I spent at Intimacy, but the bra that fit me best was $81, and one can’t have only one bra. [...]
I had grand plans for writing “What Not to Wear: the Rebecca Edition.” Instead of writing about it, I just started the makeover. Ed met me at Kohl’s this evening after work, and I bought a bunch of new clothes. Tomorrow is a professional bra fitting, after which point I may need to return some [...]
We’ve had some REALLY pretty skies the last couple of days, and I’ve been taking photos. Not feeling otherwise inspired today — and having the aforementioned lovely sky photos — I decided I’d do Sky Watch Friday.
Then the intermittent computer network problems we’ve been having the last week or so became… um… mittent again. (No, [...]
Ed!
He was in the neighborhood and stopped by during my lunch hour. We ate lunch in his car. This is something we’re RARELY able to do. (It’s happened maybe twice in the three years we’ve been together.) Work is busy and stressful, and it made a huge difference to see him. :)
It’s 6:35 p.m.
Is this too early for bed? It feels especially early since I got home just before 5:15 and we were done with dinner by 6:10. If it’s a day I don’t go to the gym, I’m often home by 5:30, but we almost always eat dinner later than we did tonight.
Anyhoo, I’m pooped. [...]
I’m thinking about opening an Etsy shop to sell my photographs. I don’t take photos to to make money. But it would be nice to have a good avenue through which to sell a photo if someone WANTS to buy a print from time to time.
I’ve actually signed up with Etsy… now I just need [...]

It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged about the Lawrenson family.
In case you don’t know the Lawrenson’s story, Tricia has cystic fibrosis. Last September, Tricia found out they were expecting their first baby. This news came RIGHT before they were to head to Durham, North Carolina, for Tricia to begin [...]
I took the day off Friday, and Ed and I went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden where we have a membership. This is only our second visit.
I found this beauty before we entered the garden.
Same with this…
…and this.
Now we’re in the courtyard just inside the gardens.
In the garden proper now, we found this frog.
This is [...]
