Between my having vertigo (feeling better, but still can’t move around too much and especially not too fast), Thanksgiving, and other photo-related projects, I didn’t take many photos at ALL!
I took 13 total shots for the week, all early Thursday evening. I didn’t take ANY photos at Thanksgiving dinner (was feeling particularly dizzy), but [...]
His being a bit older will soon score us an occasional free entree at IHOP. :)
Many, many moons ago (like in 7th grade), I took the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for the first time. I was an ISFJ.
In a nutshell, each letter means something.
I=introvert
S=sensing
F=feeling
J=judging
Then, I was pretty much an OFF THE CHARTS introvert. I still get re-energized from being alone, rather than from being with people, but as the years [...]
We’re home from Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt’s house. Dinner was yummy, and it was good to visit with my family.
On tap for the rest of the weekend…
Friday: maybe a LITTLE bit of shopping. (Ed needs a new pair of jeans. I need a few things to round out my winter wardrobe. I was hoping [...]
The Bad Sex in Fiction award surprised me this year. Again. I don’t go LOOKING for the results of the award, really, but I always seen to find them.
Anyhoo, I didn’t read any of the books mentioned here. Did you?
Thanks for all your well-wishes.
Ed took me to work today. After a long morning (so. dizzy.), I took a quick nap at lunch (sitting in a friend’s car) and had a pretty good afternoon. I ended up working 1.5 hours late to map out the next few weeks’ work.
I’m still dizzy, but it’s much better [...]
I have vertigo.
After feeling increasingly more and more dizzy for a couple of weeks, I finally got myself to the doctor on Friday. (I’d been going through some medication changes, which can have dizziness as a symptom, so waiting wasn’t as silly as it might sound.) The doctor, seeing nothing wrong with my ears, nose, [...]
Just watched the movie “Twilight.”
I am halfway through book 4 — listening to them on CD.
The parts of the book I liked I liked in the movie as well. The parts of the books that are ridiculous? Even more ridiculous on the big screen.
Still, I totally get why teenagers, in particular, love these. The [...]
Ed and I went to Zoo Atlanta yesterday with some friends. It was a COLD day (high temperature in the 40s), and a lot of the animals weren’t out when we got there. But slowly but surely many of them emerged.
The focus on this is a little… um… soft. Between my having vertigo and the [...]
I’ve not done the PhotoHunt in a few weeks, but I LOVE photographing reflections, so here I am.
The first shot is a traditional reflection. The second is NOTHING but reflections… I did flip the image 180 degrees, but the shot contains ONLY items that are reflections. I hope that makes sense.
Both were taken on November [...]
