Today was my eight-year anniversary at work.
My boss gave me a “Way to go!” when I mentioned it to him, and a coworker commented positively as well…
Late this afternoon, someone who works with our company (but who isn’t EMPLOYED by our company, if that makes any sense) needed some assistance with a project. A coworker and I helped and sent the project on its way.
A few minutes later an e-mail popped up from the person we’d helped.
He thanked us and copied our boss.
That was a GREAT anniversary gift. :)
