In November, Ed got a Christmas tree kit for $1 at Target. It came with a pot, some soil and a few pine tree seeds.
He carefully planted the seeds…
…and put the pot in our kitchen window.
Several weeks later, we had two seedlings, which I was too busy doing lots of important stuff too lazy to photograph.
A couple of mornings ago I was washing my hands and found this.
Apparently, Asbury the kitty cat rediscovered our kitchen counters and ate one of our trees and killed the other. She’s pretty cute, though, so we’ll keep her. Maybe.
