Remember on the twentieth I wrote that I’d missed the inauguration and hoped I’d get to watch it on DVR?
Well, today I did watch.
I taped six hours of NBC’s coverage: from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. I’m now starting hour five. The President hasn’t yet left the Capitol after lunch, but the parade has started without him (as planned).
I am LOVING every minute of the coverage. Well, I didn’t so much like the poem read after the president’s speech. But besides that, it’s been great.
Ahhhh… I do so love an inauguration, even 11 days late.

Absolutely, better late than never.
I think you know which way I leaned in the election, and I’m not sure which way you finally tipped, but no matter what, that was an awesome inauguration.
