My swimsuit: what was the dog trying to tell me?

A few weeks ago, I read a book called Such a Pretty Fat by Jen Lancaster.

In the book, she takes up lap swimming for exercise. Reading about her love of swimming reminded me of how much I’ve always loved swimming. After doing some research, I learned that the county we live in has several indoor pools. Now, I’m toying around with the idea of trying lap swimming to complement my workouts at Curves.

I love my current swimsuit (yes, really), but I had NO idea if it would still fit. It’s been at least six years since I’ve worn it, and I weighed about 15 pounds less then. So, I tried it on a little while ago and came down to see what Ed thought of the fit.

When I turned around for Ed to make sure there weren’t any too-worn spots on the backside of the suit, Fox barked the type of bark that earns him a sharp “no” and a trip to his crate. In other words, I was slightly worried he was going to nip at me.

I mean, I wasn’t expecting him to do a wolf whistle, but, really. What was he trying to tell me?

I think he knew that you were about to steal his Daddy’s attention away ;)
And, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jen Lancaster! I laugh out loud at her blog some days.

So, last night I had a dream that a dog was trying to bite me. I wonder why . . . ;-)

Pictures???? We must see what Fido saw in order to judge just exactly what he was trying to tell you.
