As we do every year at this time, we spent the weekend at Indian Springs Holiness Camp Meeting with friends.
In the process of helping them with their work with the children’s ministry, I got in touch with my inner child.
I colored.
Then I played with water colors.
I was initially annoyed that I water colored all over Abednego’s face (something I definitely did as a child). But then I got over myself and reveled in how much FUN it was to color and use water colors. I think I need to pull out the crayons and water colors more often.

I do a lot of coloring these days, it is truly cathartic.
