August 2009

The other night Ed asked me to make his coffee, which would be brewed before he got up the next morning.
The next morning, Ed told me I did a very good job, except that I’d left out one ingredient: the coffee.
Have I mentioned that I don’t drink coffee?
I told him it could have been worse: [...]

Toby and me in a photo Ed took in February 2006, six months after Ed and I met. We wouldn’t start dating until July, but clearly, I already very much liked him.

Ed and me in a self-portrait taken in July 2006 with Ed’s cell phone. We’d been dating for about four weeks. We would [...]

I have a shower pole poll for you:
Since I was a kid, when taking a shower I’ve shampooed my hair and applied conditioner. Then I’ve washed my body.
Ed does the opposite. We each think our way is the BEST way, of course. :)
So I’m curious: do you shampoo your hair or wash your body first?

Between a family dinner, giving blood, and not feeling well a couple of days, I managed to exercise only twice last week.
Today, I was feeling much better and planned (at least in theory) to go swimming on our way home from Stone Mountain. Ed had wanted to ride the Paddlewheel Riverboat, which he’d last done [...]
