Clearly, I need to plan better next time…

The day after Halloween, I bought 10 or 11 bags of half-price Junior Mints — the ones in the itty-bitty boxes — to go along with the bag we didn’t end up needing on Halloween. I have always LOVED Junior Mints, and I find a little box or two of the chocolate-minty goodness a perfect fix for my sweet cravings. Unfortunately, Halloween is the only time I can get the little boxes — and I crave other types of candy besides, but that’s another story.

I just opened my last bag of Junior Mints. It’s early August, friends. I’ve got three months to go until “after Halloween” rolls around again.

So, how many bags do you think I should buy this November 1?

However, we did find two bags of “after Halloween” fun-size Skittles. Score!

(There’s a reason I exercise — it’s all about being able to eat the candy.)

This cracks me up! It’s a wonderful idea! I’m definitely going to look for the boxes of Junior Mints at Halloween!

What I great idea! Junior Mints are my favorite candy too. Looks like you need to allot for a little more than a bag a month. :)

You aren’t going to believe this, but I have a bag of Halloween Candy still in my pantry, chock full of Junior Mints Mini Boxes.

Want them?

My weakness is the little bitty Snickers bars that they sell for Halloween. Those, and the little Baby Ruths. And the little O’Henry’s - but those are getting really hard to find. I think the Canadians are hoarding them. (They are/were made in Canada). Crap. Now I need a candy bar.

This made me laugh! We don’t get trick or treaters.

Those fun size candies are so addictive! I love that you stock up after Halloween with Junior Mints. Those are my favorite. Except, I by them by the big box, and then dump them into a bag of popcorn.

I say clear the shelf one it goes on sale! :)

My husband bought 3 bags of funsize Haribo last Halloween for himself. I think there are still a few lurking in the cupboard!

I love junior mints!!

I pick at my son’s candy all year after he’s long since forgotten about that candy.

junior mints are my favorite! You’re smart, girlie…I wouldn’t have thought to buy the giant bag and ration them throughout the year. I’m more likely to buy the giant box and promise myself restraint.

You know Seinfeld? There’s one episode named ‘Junior Mints’, this reaminded me of it, I’m a big fan :)

I *adore* Junior Mints too. You might be in luck though…my grocery store has already started carrying Halloween candy!

They start selling Halloween candy earlier and earlier every year, so in a few years you might be just fine if you run out even in July.

(I know I’m commenting late, but I remembered that I had always meant to comment on this post when my husband mentioned to me this afternoon that he still had some of my favorite Xmas candy in his desk at work. I have to store it there so I don’t eat it all at once.)
