Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve read about a LOT of bloggy drama (the least of which was BlogHer-related). Some of it, I’ve been involved with to a (very) small extent. And I will confess that I’ve spent WAY too much reading about some of the rest of it.
I’ve noticed that the blogs with the surrounding drama are larger blogs. This isn’t to say that smaller blogs aren’t drama-worthy, but…
I admit there are times that I’d like a few more readers. But I am SO not interested in drama.
So, I’ll take my 100 to 140 visitors a week and enjoy my drama-free existence.
Ahhhhhhhh…

Amen. The drama is getting SOOOO annoying
Preachin’ to the choir, sister! I wish I had more readers but I’m askeered of the trolls that come with them.
So… there’s blog drama? Is that a real thing? Is this something that’s difficult to avoid… because I don’t need drama right now.
I carry a gun, and people who want to cause extra drama in my life should know that I fired “expert” with it.
There sometimes is a price to pay. And I think as long as you remain true and genuine to yourself, your readers will get that and know that. And there shouldn’t be any drama with that! : )
Steph
I’ve been hearing about this drama.
Yeah! I hear ya! I like my “regulars”, as few as they may be. I am so not into drama, on or offline!
Drama? What drama? Darn. Did I miss something?
Hey, I was also invoved in a blog drama a while ago and it sucked. I moved my blog to another URL, but I wasn’t the one to cause it. I just defended someone and got slammed, too. I learned my lesson. Never get involved in this, it’s silly. Which drama do you refer, too?
I know nothing of this drama you speak of… except maybe the fact that I had to create a private blog because of certain people in my life. I’ve been seeing lots of that lately, actually.
I do love a good gossip session now and then though… and to think I was sad to miss BlogHer.
